Prescriptions
If your long-term medication is on repeat prescription you can order in a number of ways:
- By Patches – go to PATCHS and request
- By hand – drop your computerised repeat slip off at reception (or through the letterbox when we are closed) with the required items clearly marked.
- By post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- We are unable to accept requests over the telephone unless from housebound patients.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
If you have a prescription query, please contact the surgery on 0151 677 2425 and select option 2 to speak to our Medications Manager between 10am-2pm. Please be patient when calling option 2, this line is monitored by 1 person only, so may result in a longer wait to call through.
NHS Prescription charges
These charges apply in England only. In Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales prescriptions are free of charge.
